About Us

Paralegals employed by diverse companies nationwide are assuming greater responsibility and playing increasingly important roles in managing corporate legal operations. Often, in-house paralegals will oversee relationships and services performed by outside counsel and legal suppliers. Many work in diverse law-related capacities in other corporate departments. Increasingly, effective “paralegal utilization” is an important focus for many companies seeking to remain competitive in today’s challenging legal marketplace.

Although there are numerous associations serving the interests of paralegals; these organizations cater primarily to paralegals working for law firms because this is currently where most paralegals are employed.

The founders of this important endeavor are simply responding to the market need for centralized information and resources useful particularly to paralegals working for law departments and company business units. We’re committed to and excited about our goal of supporting and advancing the corporate paralegal profession.

►Kelly Montgomery

Kelly (“Kel”) worked for many years as a senior paralegal with Wal-Mart’s law department. Kel had the idea originally to start a company to provide educational programs designed for senior corporate paralegals. Kel now works with Altep. Learn more about Kelly.

►Fennemore Craig

Fennemore Craig is a long established southwest regional law firm of approximately 200 attorneys with offices in Phoenix, Denver, Las Vegas, Nogalis and Tucson. Peter Jenkins is an experienced trial lawyer turned business development consultant.
